The Downey Master Chorale began in 2013 under the musical direction of Margaret Zeleny.

For singers who want more beyond the limitations of resources and personnel in their own communities, clubs, schools and churches, who seek a more challenging and fulfilling experience with like-minded musicians, the Downey Master Chorale seeks to bring performances of music worthy of the term “masterpiece.”

Rehearsals are held weekly, kindly hosted by the Cornerstone Christian Worship Center at 9001 Paramount Blvd, Downey, CA 90241.

The Downey Master Chorale is a part of the Downey Arts Coalition, a network of artists and arts advocates dedicated to the advancement of the arts in our community.
